Water, Light & Life: Exploring Water and Electromagnetic Fields

About the Event

Presentation by William Brown, Director of Biophysics Research at the International Space Federation

About the Presentation

The International Space Federation will present new research at the 4th European Aquaphotomics Conference, taking place 23–26 September 2026 at the Kaneff Centre, University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev,” in Ruse, Bulgaria.
William Brown, Director of Biophysics Research at ISF, will introduce ongoing research exploring how carefully designed electromagnetic environments may influence the molecular organization of water.
The presentation will bring together concepts from aquaphotomics, infrared spectroscopy, electromagnetism, and biophysics, offering a first look at experimental findings from the ISF laboratory.

Presentation Highlights

  • How electromagnetic fields may influence the molecular organization of water
  • The role of hydrogen-bond networks and molecular vibrations
  • Preliminary findings from near-infrared spectroscopy
  • The potential relationship between water, electromagnetic environments, and biological systems
  • Questions and directions for future research

The research is ongoing, and the findings presented represent an early stage of investigation. Further controlled experiments are underway to better understand the observed effects and their underlying mechanisms.
